US Marshals Capture Ex-Con Who Fired Shots Into VA Hookah Lounge: Police

The US Marshals captured a convicted felon who local police say fired shots into a Virginia sports bar during an argument in March.

Landry Joseph Johnson, 30, of Dumfries, got into a fight inside of Babylon Cafe on Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge around 12:20 a.m. on March 24, Prince William County police said.

The fight spilled out to the parking lot where Johnson got a gun and fired multiple rounds, one of them going through the front window of the business and becoming lodged inside the bar area, police said.

Johnson fled in a white SUV, but was ultimately captured in Woodbridge on Tuesday, May 30, local police said. He was charged with shooting into an occupied building, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

It was not immediately clear which previous crimes Johnson had been convicted of.
